Pop super duo sisters Tegan and Sara played a fantastic show in Boston and we were there to witness it all. The Canadian duo were in the middle of their ‘Crybaby’ tour and they made a stop in Boston at a very packed Roadrunner. Fans were eager to see the sisters perform live and you could feel the electric energy in the building.
The night got off to a great start thanks to a fantastic set from Carlie Hanson. Carlie did her entire set acoustic which was a treat to see and the crowd was loving every minute of it.
After Carlie blew the crowd away it was finally time for Tegan and Sara to hit the stage. Fans were eagerly awaiting this moment all night and you could feel their excitement across the venue.
Tegan and Sara came out to a roar of screams from adoring fans. They opened with ‘You Wouldn’t Like Me’ with a lot of energy early on. They truly know how to work the crowd and put on such a memorable show. They gave Boston some love, while talking about how Sara wanted to go to Harvard and it turned into this whole hilarious bit that went on before they would play more songs from their discography. The witty stage banter they have is unmatched, like classic siblings joking with one another, it was one of the highlights of the night. The other highlight was the wide arrangement of songs they play from their discography, which spans over 25 years. They played most songs from their newest album ‘Crybaby’ while also going way back to the early years and also throwing in a cover of Feel it In My Bones, by Tiesto.
It was certainly a night to remember and one we were glad to be at!
