From Dorm Rooms to Sold-Out Shows: Guster’s Homecoming in Boston

Guster ended their “We Also Have Eras” tour in Boston, blending music and comedy for a memorable night. Returning to the city felt like a homecoming, considering their beginnings at Tufts University’s campus where they began their college and musical journey. The local fans, known for their fervent support of hometown musicians, filled the venue with excitement and pride. Witnessing Guster’s journey from small local bars to a sold-out show at the MGM Music Hall at Fenway was a full circle moment for everyone who has followed their rise over the past three decades.

Joey Fatone & AJ McLean’s Legendary Boston Take Over

It was party central at House of Blues last Friday night, as popstars Joey Fatone and AJ McLean took Boston by storm on what would indeed be “A Legendary Night”. The prominently millennial crowd made their way down Lansdowne early in the evening, with a long line that went around the corner just as doors opened. DJ Reg West greeted the fans with a 30 minute set, jam packed with some of the greatest hits of all time, from Whitney Houston to Journey. He would also scout the crowd for four lucky fans that would get couch passes, joining the duo on stage later in the evening.

Bombay Bicycle Club Score Big in Boston Return

It had been six long years since the local contingent of Bombay Bicycle Club fans were able to see the band when they pulled up to Royale last Monday night. Since then, they’ve put out two new studio albums: the seemingly prophetically titled Everything Else Has Gone Wrong in January 2020 just before everything did go very wrong and last year’s My Big Day. The latest LP debuted at No. 3 in their native UK, their fifth consecutive Top 10 album on the country’s charts.
