CONCERT REVIEW: SUKI WATERHOUSE AT PARADISE ROCK CLUB

A sold-out crowd packed Paradise Rock Club last weekend, with anticipation of seeing Suki Waterhouse. The English model and singer is currently touring across the United States promoting their EP Milk Teeth, which was released in 2022. The upcoming Daisy Jones and the Six star has evolved musically from her successful debut album I Can’t Let Go.

The venue was perfect for this show because of how intimate it felt. The fans ranged from teenagers who came with their parents, friends who came together and those who came with their significant others, all to enjoy the same music. There were times throughout Bombshell’s and Suki’s set that they commented on the love they felt from the crowd knowing all their songs and how the energy was electric.

Following the opener, Suki began her set with her song “Bullshit on the Internet”. The energy from Waterhouse never wavered, it kept everyone on the edge of their seats singing along. After every song, she conveyed her appreciation for the fans and everyone that has listened to her music. She transitioned into songs like “Melrose Meltdown” and “Moves” from her first album. Like her previous two albums, there was a mix of melancholy and more upbeat songs.

Suki Waterhouse’s talent and charisma are reflected in her performance. It is so evident as to why her fans are so passionate. A great artist has both astounding vocals but also takes the time and effort to interact with the crowd. I cannot wait to see all of her success and to see her next time she is in Boston!
