NYC music fans gather at one of the most prolific venues in America to celebrate the holidays accompanied by great music. I Heart Radio brings the Jingle Ball tour to the Big Apple. With acts like Dua Lipa, Charlie Puth, Lizzo, among many others.

Doors open at 7pm to the enthusiastic fans. Jax starts the show with her song “90’s kids”. This is the singer’s first Jingle Ball tour and through her performance she shares with the crowd her enthusiasm. Immediately after Jax, JVKE takes the stage to perform his song “Golden Hour”. JVKE started his music career through the platform TikTok and this year he has been able to reap the rewards of his hard work, being on top of the music charts along with all the pop artists we know and love.

AJR brought the energy to a whole new level in Madison Square Garden, playing the hits that are constantly viral on social media, like “Burn The House Down” and “World’s Smallest Violin”. The Kid Laroi comes on stage and surprises us with acoustic versions of his most well known songs, including the fan favorite “Stay”. Fans of Demi Lovato were happy to witness the artist’s new rock era. It seems like Demi is closer to herself as ever, as she embraces rock, a genre that has inspired the singer since her beginnings in music.

The Jingle Ball always invites big names in music to headline their tour, and this year is no different. Lizzo, the Back Street Boys, Charlie Puth and Dua Lipa are headliners for this tour and each have five to seven songs to perform on this night. Lizzo brings up the energy at the venue with her colorful Grinch outfit and her dynamic choreography. The Back Street Boys perform their well-known hits. Songs like “Everybody” and “Larger Than Life” receive the biggest welcome from the fans. This event has played a great part in connecting the band to the new generation of pop fans.

Dua Lipa closes the night with “Don’t Start Now” as she says goodbye to the fans. The Jingle Ball is the perfect event to see all of the biggest artists at the time in one place and to experience a recap of the biggest hits of the year. I can’t wait to see what the new year has in store for these artists and which artists will be headlining the Jingle Ball in 2023.
